Wiz Khalifa just returned from LA, where he shot the video to his next single "Say Yeah." The video featured some 50 cast members and extras, and shows Wiz and his crew traveling around the world (encountering many interesting situtations). What other Hip Hop video features a Mariachi band, belly dancers, Brazilian Carnival girls, and Russian mobsters??? Stay tuned for updates on the release of "Say Yeah."

LAST MINUTE Pittsburgh set added!
Scott Simons will be performing this Wednesday October 24th at Club Cafe on the southside of Pittsburgh as part of Todd Burge's Songwriter Night. Its a great showcase of regional songwriters that is taped at various venues for radio broadcast and internet podcast. Each artist will only perform a few songs, but its worth getting there to hear everyone!
In addition to Scott, this week's show also features: Todd Burge, Billy Matheny, Martha Jane, Steve Vesolich, Heather Kropf and Jack Erdie.

Good Peoples and Rostrum/Warner Bros. Records are proud to announce Wiz Khalifa’s debut New York City headline show on October 20th during CMJ week 2007. DJ’s Green Lantern and Klever will host the event, along with a special performance by Skotch Davis. The 2007 CMJ Music Marathon showcases a five-day lineup of hundreds of the top up and coming artists in the world. To see the full lists of artists and venues please visit the site.

With huge success by Rostrum’s own Nitty (Rostrum/Universal Records) and Wiz Khalifa (Rostrum/Warner Bros.), the label has gone on to sign much anticipated artists Scott Simons, S. Money, and the resurfaced 1988 “Top Shelf” recordings (Big Daddy Kane, Grand Puba, MC Lyte, etc.).
While Wiz Khalifa prepares to be the new face of Hip Hop in 2008, tastemakers and radio PDs have been catching. Wiz's single "Say Yeah" is climbing the charts and the press has been buzzing. With features in Rolling Stone, XXL, Allhiphop.com, Vibe, and his video debuting on MTV Jams, Wiz will be sure to put Pittsburgh on the map and the industry in check.
Scott Simons' highly anticipated debut "The Start of Something EP" will feature all new original material highlighting Simons' unique sound of synth and piano-driven melodic pop. Scott has been signed by major independent publisher Bug Music/Windswept, and, as a songwriter, Simons' is managed by Sandy Roberton at World's End Management in Los Angeles. Scott has been working with and writing for artists on Mercury, Island Def/Jam, Atlantic, Epitaph Records and more.
S. Money is the newest addition to the Rostrum camp. The 22 year old rapper is a legend on the streets of his hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. He has collaborated with major label artists and DJ’s such as Bun B., DJ Kay Slay, Peedi Crakk, Don P, and MC Eiht. He has sold thousands of mixtapes as a solo artist, as well as with his crew The Govament. S. Money's most recent project, New Money, was released in early May.
Rostrum Records’ main focus is on artist development. This emphasis has been the driving force behind the label’s current success.
