Founded in 2003, Rostrum Records is an independent label that has been developing and releasing the next wave of popular recording artists.

With huge success by Rostrum’s own Nitty (Rostrum/Universal Records) and Wiz Khalifa (Rostrum/Atlantic Records), the label has gone on to sign much anticipated artists Mac Miller, Scott Simons, Donora, Vali Porter, and the resurfaced 1988 "Top Shelf" recordings (Big Daddy Kane, Grand Puba, MC Lyte, etc.).

Rostrum's artist Wiz Khalifa is currently #6 on the Billboard charts with his song, "Black and Yellow."  The single went platinum last week and is currently the #1 Hip Hop song on the iTunes charts.  

Rostrum Records’ main focus is on artist development. This emphasis has been the driving force behind the label’s current success.
